JW Washington serves as the National Director of Business Development for Ariens|Co. He supports commercial sales JW brings over 16 years of sales management experience for both privately held companies and Fortune 50 organizations. He has served in a variety of leadership positions within those companies
With over 19 years of sales & operations management experience, JW has presented training & educational sessions on sales programs & techniques and social selling at a variety of industry events including Landscape Congress (ON); ProGreen EXPO; Texas Nursery Landscape Association (TNLA); National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) National Collegiate Landscape Competition, UTV University @ GIE+EXPO; Landscapes events at GIE+EXPO; and Dealer Days events at GIE+EXPO. He has also presented at Grow Group! educational events such as GROW!, Elite Retreat, etc.
Today, JW serves on the Advisory Board—Academic Programs for Horticultural & Agricultural, for Houston Community College (HCC). He serves with advocates from across the industry to work with Dr. Koch at HCC to provide strong graduates for the green industry. Additionally, JW is a volunteer leader for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo (HLSR). The HLSR provided over $24 million in educational assistance to the youth of Texas last year. JW has served in a variety of progressively increasing leadership roles for the volunteer committees most recently as Division Chairman—Distribution for Rodeo Merchandise and is now a Captain for the Western Art Committee. He is giving back to the organization that provided him a scholarship to receive his education at Texas A&M University.
